World War II

My "World War II" works are a series of paintings and illustrations based off of my photography, love for the history and exhibit how beautiful these machines are. I'm hoping to capture the imagination of the time period, as well. These scenes I feel- show the historic significance and heroism of the men and women of World War 2, and show the majesty and beauty of these "War Machines" from all fronts.

I sold prints of 3 of these aircraft at the Wright-Patterson Air Force base (Museum foundation) in Dayton, OH. The P40E Warhawk, Lockheed Lodestar and Junkers Ju52 are all a part of the museum's collection.

My Process starts by taking many photos of each focal point- doing lots of research and getting the drawing as accurate as I can, before applying the paint. That consists of airbrushing, layering, masking and these are all painted on paper.
